Ashley, Jenna, Ashley and Jessica K. - Assistants
Ashley has been a member of our team since October 2008. She enjoys being around children and in the future would like to help kids in need by becoming a social worker. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with friends, family and her dog, Buddy
Jenna has been with our team since May 2009. She is currently taking classes at Johnson County Community College with hopes of being accepted into the dental hygiene program. She loves meeting new people and working with children. In her free time, she loves to spend time with her family and friends.
Ashley completed the Advantage Dental Assisting program in March 2007 and joined our team the following month. She loves being with the patients and making them feel comfortable in the dental chair. In her free time Ashley enjoys spending time with her husband, Andrew, and their two-year-old son, Hunter.
Jessica K. graduated from Concorde Career Institute as a dental assistant with high honors. She went on to obtain her DANB (Dental Assisting National Board) certification. Jessica has worked with children and adults with special needs in the past and desires to continue working with children. She has found her career with Drs. Jenkins and LeBlanc to be very rewarding!
Anne, Chemeka, Candace and Krystal - Assistants
Anne is a warm and friendly team member of Drs. Jenkins and LeBlanc. She is a loving mother of a young son. Anne moved to Kansas five years ago from Edmond, Oklahoma. She was in the customer service industry for 10 years. In her spare time, Anne enjoys being with her family and friends.
Chemeka has over ten years work experience in the dental profession. She is a friendly and motivated dental assistant who loves working with children. Chemeka enjoys spending time with her two children as well as her family and friends. She is also proud to be our Dental Health Education Leader, teaching oral hygiene to school-aged children.
Candace, or Candi, as she is affectionately called, loves being a team member for Drs. Jenkins & Leblanc as well as interacting with the kids. When she is not at work she loves spending time with her husband, Jeremy and child, three-year-old Lucas. They enjoy going to the park, camping, and going to the movies. They are currently expecting a little baby girl, and couldn’t be happier!
Krystal has been in the dental field for the past 11 years and has been involved in pediatric dentistry for the past seven years. She is a very hard worker and dedicated team member. Krystal has one young son, Cooper. Krystal loves working with children and creating a happy and enjoyable dental environment for them.
Sarah, Cecelia, Michelle and Robyn - Assistants
Sarah L. has been a dental assistant for about 9 years. She has two kids, Gage who is 15 years old and Hunter who is 12 years old. They are a blast and love to make her laugh! She also has two dogs, Mojo, who is a Jack Russell Terrier and KC, who is a black Lab. She has been married to her husband, Jeff for 15 years and they love to play co-ed softball, volleyball, and hang out with their wonderful children.
Cecilia has been a student at Johnson County Community College for the past 2 years and is currently deciding a major. She is very interested in the medical field and loves working with kids. She loves helping people and hearing all their stories they have to tell.
Michelle started working as a dental assistant this year and has found it to be very rewarding to work with children. She has two wonderful boys, four-year-old Conner and three-year-old Ayden. When she is not spending time with her friends and family, she enjoys camping at the lake, having BBQ’s and riding ATV’s.
Robyn loves being a Dental Assistant and is currently a student at Maple Woods Community College where she is working on becoming a Dental Hygienist. She believes that the best part of being a Dental Assistant is working with children every day and hearing their stories. In her free time she enjoys hanging out with her friends and family.
Veletta, Jessica B and Mandy- Front Office
Veletta is a valued member of Drs. Jenkins and Leblanc’s team. She is part of our marketing team and is our scheduling coordinator. In her spare time she enjoys going to sporting events and hanging out with family, friends, and her dog Sassie.
Jessica B. loves being part of the Drs. Jenkins and LeBlanc’s Team. Her favorite part of the job is hearing the many stories told by parents about their once apprehensive child who now begs to go to the dentist. At home Jessica enjoys family time with her husband and young son. She enjoys spending time outdoors and sneaking away to a beach whenever she can!
Mandy is a proud mother of a beautiful daughter, with whom she adores spending time. She is a Graduate of William Woods University where she obtained both her Bachelors of Science in Political and Legal Studies as well as Equestrian Sciences. In her spare time, Mandy loves spending time with her family and friends.
Christina, Deanna, Norma and Natosha - Assistants
Christina completed the Advantage Dental Assisting program in September 2008 and has been with us ever since. Christina and her husband, Doug, are expecting their first baby, Leah, in December. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their dog Maggie.
Deanna graduated from Concorde Career Institute as a dental assistant in April 2005. She has been a full-time dental assistant since May 2005. Deanna chose the pediatric field because she especially loves working with children. Deanna enjoys spending time with her loving children, MaKayla and Mason, as well as spending time with her husband, Jacky.
Norma is currently a student at Johnson County Community College. She loves working with kids and is working towards her nursing degree in pediatrics.
Natosha graduated from Concorde Career Institute in June 2003 and has been a full time dental assistant ever since. Natosha is a motivated member of the team and she enjoys educating children about their smiles. In her spare time, Natosha enjoys shopping, cooking and spending time with her husband,.
Nici and Ally - Front Office
Nici, as she is commonly called, joined Drs Jenkins & LeBlanc’s team in March of 2006. Nici attended and graduated from Concorde Career College in 2006 as a certified Dental Assistant. Nici enjoys learning more and more about her career. Outside the office she is a mother of two, Alexis and Alessandra, and spends most of her free time with her family.
Ally joined our practice in December 2007. She has over eleven years of dental experience. Ally is very family-oriented and loves children. She loves spending time with her son, playing baseball, football and building Hot Wheels tracks. In the summer, Ally and her family love going to the lake, adding on to their tree house and riding the ZipLine.
Marisa, Amy and Tamara - Front Office
Marisa has been working in the customer service field for 7yrs. She especially loves her job in the front office and always loves hearing how excited the children are to be at the dentist. Outside of work she spends her time with her Fiancé Ryan, and their wonderful 10 month old daughter, Brooklyn.
Amy has been working with Drs. Jenkins & LeBlanc’s team since the opening of the Shawnee office in July of 2005. Amy enjoys her position at the front office and always has a smile ready for children. She enjoys meeting new people and greeting all of the children that visit our office. Amy enjoys spending time with her two sons and husband. They all especially enjoy going to the zoo and to the movies.
Tamara is currently a student at the Metropolitan Community College of Kansas City, where she is pursuing an Associate of Arts degree. Upon graduation, Tamara will continue her education at UMKC where she plans to obtain her bachelor’s in communications. In her spare time, Tamara focuses on singing opera and being with her family and friends.
