Prairie Village Dental Restoration Services
Brightening Children's Smiles for Life
LeBlanc & Associates have extensive experience in dental restorations for children. If your child has tooth decay or a cavity, we take careful, preventive measures to ensure their smile grows into a healthy, beautiful one.
Types of Dental Restorations for Children
Tooth Fillings
Fillings are a common treatment for cavities. To add a filling, the dentist will remove the decayed portion of the tooth with a drill. Then, a silvery alloy, gold, porcelain, or a composite resin fills the hole. All of these materials are completely safe for your child.
Crowns For Teeth
If a tooth has significant decay, it may require a crown rather than a filling. Your dentist removes the damaged portion of the tooth. And then, they fit it with a crown made of gold, porcelain, or porcelain fused to metal.
Root Canal
If the root or pulp of your child’s tooth is dead, your dentist will need to remove the nerve, tissue, and blood vessels, along with the decayed portion of the tooth. A sealing material will be used to fill in the roots of the tooth, and a crown may be required to cover the filling.
Cosmetic Dentistry Services
At LeBlanc & Associates, we recognize the importance of enhancing your child’s smile, which is why we offer our patients cosmetic dentistry services.
Cosmetic treatments not only offer a confidence-boosting smile but can often be used to help protect dental health as well.
During your appointment, discussing any questions or concerns with your pediatric dentist will help you gain a better understanding of the different types of children’s cosmetic dentistry options that are available.
Oral Surgery Procedures
The goal of oral surgery is to improve the function, health, and appearance of your smile and the surrounding structures, such as the jaw.
All oral surgery procedures are performed in a calm, comfortable, and safe environment.
