Johnna Long
RDH
Johnna grew up in a small town south of Kansas City. She graduated from high school with the aspiration to be a dental hygienist, a dream she carried since middle school. Her older sister is a dental assistant and inspired Johnna to pursue a career in the dental field.
After high school, Johnna attended Highland Community College, playing softball for the Scotties and graduating in 2011. After attending Highland, Johnna began the dental hygiene program at Johnson County Community College and graduated in 2013 before joining the dental hygiene team at LeBlanc & Associates that May.
Johnna enjoys working dental pediatrics and finds it gratifying to create a calm and caring atmosphere to ensure a positive experience for children. Her goal is to make children’s dental experiences fun, educational and pleasant, leaving them with a smile they have confidence in!
In her spare time, Johnna enjoys being outdoors and attending sporting events. Johnna is a proud mother or her little girl, Jadyn and spends her weekends taking Jadyn to dance practices, play dates with friends and even coaches her softball team!
Blair Mawhiney
RDH
Prior to her dental hygiene degree, Blair earned her BS in Biology from Kansas State University. Blair received her degree in Dental Hygiene from Johnson County Community College in May 2015. Soon after graduation, Blair joined our team at LeBlanc & Associates.
In Blair’s spare time she enjoys spending time outside, attending Royals and Chiefs games with her family and friends. Blair enjoys working with parents and children in advancing good oral health practices. She enjoys working in an environment of like-minded peers and is encouraged by their positivity and kindness.
Lauren Young
RDH
Prior to Lauren’s Dental Hygiene degree, she attended The University of Kansas where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. After teaching in KCK for three years, her passion to be a dental hygienist grew as she noticed the great need of dental education to the areas she was serving.
Lauren started working at LeBlanc & Associates in 2015 as an assistant where she was able to use her education in a whole new field and her desire to expand her knowledge and skills increased. With the fantastic training and background she was given at LeBlanc & Associates, she was accepted into the Dental Hygiene program at Johnson County Community College where she graduated in 2018. Shortly after graduation, she returned to L&A as a Dental Hygienist. Lauren loves the comforting environment the staff at LeBlanc & Associates provides to children and families and the rewarding feeling at the end of each day.
Lauren has a three-year-old daughter who keeps her busy outside of work with extracurricular activities. In her spare time, Lauren enjoys KU, Royals, and Chiefs sporting events, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
Olivia Gilmore
RDH
Olivia grew up in southeast Kansas. After graduating high school, Olivia went on to continue her education at Missouri Southern State University. She graduated in May 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in health science and an associate’s in dental hygiene.
Following graduation, Olivia began working at LeBlanc & Associates where she immediately felt at home! Olivia loves the environment of the office, the encouragement of the doctors, relationships with her peers, and interactions with patients.
In her free time, Olivia enjoys spending time with her family and exploring all Kansas City has to offer.
Jennifer Trager
RDH
Jennifer began her dental career as a dental assistant at LeBlanc & Associates in May of 2014. After experiencing the atmosphere, she instantly knew that she wanted to expand on her skills and knowledge in the dental field by pursuing a degree to further her career.
This goal was met in May 2017 when she graduated from Johnson County Community College with an Associates in Dental Hygiene. She accredits her success to the fundamentals that LeBlanc & Associates provided when she worked as a dental assistant. Shortly after graduating, she accepted a dental hygienist position with the company. She thoroughly enjoys educating pediatric patients and parents about oral hygiene and strives to go above and beyond to provide exceptional care.
She is the proud mom of a son and daughter, Cash and Giana. In her spare time, she enjoys watching her children’s extracurricular activities, spending time with her close-knit family, going to Chiefs games, and making others laugh!
