Meet Our Hygienists


Johnna Long, RDH- Dental Hygienist

Johnna grew up in a small town south of Kansas City. She graduated from high school with the aspiration to be a dental hygienist, a dream she carried since middle school. Her older sister is a dental assistant and inspired Johnna to pursue a career in the dental field. After high school, Johnna attended Highland Community College, playing softball for the Scotties and graduating in 2011. After attending Highland, Johnna began the dental hygiene program at Johnson County Community College and graduated in 2013 before joining the dental hygiene team at Jenkins & LeBlanc that May. Johnna enjoys working dental pediatrics and finds it gratifying to create a calm and caring atmosphere to ensure a positive experience for children. Her goal is to make children’s dental experiences fun, educational and pleasant, leaving them with a smile they have confidence in! In her spare time, Johnna enjoys being outdoors and attending sporting events. Johnna is a proud mother or her little girl, Jadyn and spends her weekends taking Jayden to dance practices, play dates with friends and even coaches her softball team!


Robyn Montesano Hall, RDH- Dental Hygienist

Robyn graduated from UMKC SOD with a BS in Dental Hygiene. Robyn has worked for Jenkins & LeBlanc for 7 years and began her career with us as a dental assistant. She credits Drs. Jenkins and LeBlanc for playing a huge role in furthering her career in the dental field. Robyn is newly married to her husband Josh and together they are working on building a house in North Kansas City. In Robyn’s free time, she enjoys spending time with her niece and nephew, going to the Lake of the Ozarks and loving on her newly added member of her family, her dog Jack.



Stacie Summers, RDH- Dental Hygienist

Stacie graduated from Johnson County Community College with a degree in dental hygiene. Stacie has been working for Dr. Jenkins & LeBlanc since 2015. Stacie enjoys the encouraging environment Drs. Jenkins and LeBlanc have created and is passionate about patient education. Outside of work, Stacie enjoys keeping busy with her two daughters, Camryn and Hadley. Stacie is a KU Jayhawks enthusiast and has a love for the KC Royals, concerts and traveling. Stacie especially enjoys Summers in the sun with her children and friends!



Blair Mawhiney, RDH- Dental Hygienist

Prior to her dental hygiene degree, Blair earned her BS in Biology from Kansas State University. Blair received her degree in Dental Hygiene from Johnson County Community College in May 2015. Soon after graduation, Blair joined our team at Jenkins & LeBlanc. In Blair’s spare time she enjoys spending time outside, attending Royals and Chiefs games with her family and friends and occasionally making her way back to Manhattan to cheer on her Wildcats in football. Blair enjoys working with parents and children in advancing good oral health practices. She enjoys working in an environment of like-minded peers and is encouraged by their positivity and kindness.


Shelby Pursel, RDH- Dental Hygienist

Shelby developed a passion for the dental field at an early age with her own experience of challenges with her dental health. She knew she wanted to help children achieve a beautiful and healthy smile. After graduation from high school, Shelby attended Northeastern Oklahoma A&M on a scholarship for rodeo. After graduation she continued to follow her dreams of becoming a dental hygienist by attending Missouri Southern State University and graduating with her BS in health science and an associate in dental hygiene. Shelby joined the hygiene team of Jenkins & LeBlanc in 2015 and credits her experiences here to be rewarding and exciting. She has a passion for helping others and enjoys working with children. Shelby’s has a vision to help educate children while making their dental visit fun and enjoyable. In her spare time, Shelby enjoys riding horses, traveling and spending time with her friends and family.


Olivia Gilmore, RDH- Dental Hygienist

Olivia grew up in southeast Kansas. After graduating high school, Olivia went on to continue her education at Missouri Southern State University. She graduated in May 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in health science and an associate’s in dental hygiene. Following graduation, Olivia began working at Jenkins and LeBlanc where she immediately felt at home! Olivia loves the environment of the office, the encouragement of the doctors, relationships with her peers and interactions with patients. In her free time, Olivia enjoys spending time with her family and exploring all Kansas City has to offer.



Jennifer Trager, RDH- Dental Hygienist

Jennifer began her dental hygiene journey as a dental assistant at Jenkins and Leblanc in May of 2014. After experiencing the atmosphere, she instantly knew that she wanted to expand on her skills and knowledge in the dental field by pursuing a degree to further her career. This goal was met in May 2017 when she graduated from Johnson County Community College with an Associates in Dental Hygiene. She accredits her success to the foundation that Jenkins and LeBlanc provided when she worked as a dental assistant. Shortly after graduating, she accepted a dental hygienist position with the company. She has two wonderful kiddos ages 7 and 10 with her husband whom she has been married to for 13 years. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, watching her kid’s extracurricular activities, going to Royals games, and working with horses. She thoroughly enjoys educating pediatric patients and parents about oral hygiene and strives to go above and beyond to provide exceptional care.
