06/14/2020 COVID-19 Update
What To Expect at Your Appointment:
We are so excited to be back open and seeing routine appointments again! We have MISSED YOU ALL and cannot wait to see your smiles!
In light of recent events, we wanted to let you know of a few changes our office has made to protect the health and safety of your family.
· Instead of sitting in the waiting room once checked in, we will ask that you return to your vehicle until it’s time for your appointment. We will cheerfully call you back into the office as soon as we can get your child back for their appointment.
· Although we LOVE seeing your whole family, at this time, we will ask that only 1 parent accompany the children for their visit. Due to the social distancing protocol, we kindly ask that only children who have an appointment come into the office.
· You may notice we aren’t handing out all the fun stuff Ice cream, balloons, and games are on a pause to lower the spread of germs, but it’s not forever! In the meantime, we will continue to show the latest and greatest Disney movies (and some classics!) as well as a variety of shows of your child’s preference.
· We may look a little different…face shields and hairnets will accessorize our normal ensemble! It may look like a LOT, but as always, we will be happy to show and tell all about our new outfits to make your children comfortable.
· Bear with us as we take everyone’s temperature and ask about recent health history a few times before your child’s visit; we also ask that you bring your mask if you have one, if not we will provide one for you to wear during your visit. Trust that we are doing this for the safety of your family in making sure you are not exposed to anyone who has experienced illness or fever in recent days.
· As the saying goes, the days are LONG, but the years are short—for now, we will be extending office hours to decrease the number of people in the office at one time so that we can continue to enjoy watching your children grow for many years to come!
We will continue to closely follow the guidelines of the CDC and KDHE and will be in communication with you as soon as we can resume normal operations. As always, your child’s health and well-being are of utmost importance to all of us here at Drs. Jenkins and LeBlanc. We will always go above and beyond to make your child’s dental experience as safe and fun as possible. Stay well and we look forward to seeing you soon!

We are confident in our team’s knowledge, skills, and abilities to adhere to recently-adopted protocols sanctioned by these organizations.
We have always been proud of our high standard of Infection control protocols. In an abundance of caution, we have implemented the following additional practices to keep your families safe:
- Pre-screening all patients and families by phone prior to appointments

- Proactive screening forms for any Covid-related symptoms
- Check-in procedures have been adapted in order to allow for you to wait for your appointment from the comfort of your vehicle
- Limiting traffic by allowing one parent/guardian to be present during the appointment
- Temporary suspension of ice cream, popsicles, and balloons
- Removal of any non-essential surfaces, such as suspending games in the waiting areas
- Limiting traffic in the offices to maintain appropriate social distancing practices
- Expanded appointment times to offer more variety for scheduling

03/19/2020 COVID-19 Urgent Update
To Our Patients and Families:
Out of an abundance of caution, it has been recommended by the American Dental Association (ADA) to postpone elective procedures for the time being. The time frame is fluid and ever-changing, as well as the COVID-19 situation. As of 03/18/2020 we are postponing any elective procedures and appointments.
We are remaining open and seeing patients with emergency needs during this time. We will be contacting all patients with scheduled elective appointments to reschedule at a later time.
We are committed to keeping our patients, families, community, and staff safe and healthy. The ADA recommendation is enacted to lessen the spread of COVID-19 and lighten the burden that dental emergencies would place in hospital emergency departments. We are here for you and your families during this confusing time. As this is an ever-evolving situation, we will keep you updated on any changes.
Please do not hesitate to call with any questions or concerns at:
